Who are your hosts?

We are Laraine and David Sheppard, creative people who have decorated all the places in a style we hope will bring you pleasure when you come and stay. Laraine is an artist who specialises in creating unique pieces by combining wax and nature. David is an award winning designer and maker of furniture. The two of us are always looking to add something different for you to enjoy.

We established the first cottage in 2003. Our aim is to help guests have a memorable holiday experience. Each accommodation has been carefully created by us to provide you with a space that is full of character and comfort. We live within the grounds of each place, which means we are here for you if needed. There is another important member of our team, Bertie, our miniature Schnauzer. Bertie is the most friendly little fellow and likes nothing more than to meet and greet our guests with a waggy tail and a shagging paw. If you have a fear of dogs, don't worry, just let us know and we will ensure Bertie isn't around when you are there.

We want you to enjoy your stay and maybe return again in the future, so if there is anything you need that we haven't provided, just let us know. Hopefully, like many others, you will arrive as guests, but leave as friends.
