Do you accept pets?

We can only accept one small dog in either Mollycroft. We’re sorry, but no pets are permitted in Croft or Sunset. We have a Miniature Schnauzer called Bertie who likes to meet and greet guests arriving at Croft, Sunset and Mollycroft

Do you require a deposit?
-
A deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before you arrive. Before you arrive we also ask for a Security Bond to be paid against damage. If you require a long term let, we may request a small deposit to cover against undue ware and tare.

Do you charge for electricity and heating?
-
There is no extra charge for electricity or heating. In Mollycroft, we supply the first basket of logs free. If you require more logs, these are charged at £5 per basket.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes, all bed linen and towels are provided, free of charge.

Do you have a cot and high chair?

Yes, please arrange this in advance. There is no charge, but we need to make sure it is available for you and set up ready for when you arrive.

Is there Wi-Fi at the properties?

Croft and Sunset have free Wi-Fi available, but Mollycroft is without Wi-Fi, but you can connect near the house.

Can I arrange for internet shopping to be delivered before I arrive?

Yes, many guests order their groceries to be delivered prior to or during their stay. Please tell us if you arrange this and we will keep an eye open for the delivery.

Is there adequate parking?

There is ample parking space for one vehicle per accommodation. If you require more parking space, please let us know in advance and we will make arrangements for you

How far to the nearest shop?
-
The nearest shop is in the village. It is a 10min walk, down the lane

How far to the nearest Pub?
-
There are three pubs within walking distance, although one is along a main road without a pavement, so it can be dangerous at night. The other two (Horse & Jockey and The George) are both 10 mins away along the quite country lane.

Is there any road noise?

The A37 runs past Highcroft Lane and so there is some distant noise from this, but it is not a nuisance.

What access is there for wheelchairs?

Access the Croft and Sunset is across a step. We have been able to provide a ramp for access to Croft for past guests. Mollycroft is accessed by five fairly steep steps.

Are bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor?

Croft has a double bedroom, toilet and shower room on the ground floor. Sunset has a toilet, walk-in shower and bath on the ground floor. All the bedrooms in Sunset are on the first floor.

Are there any steps in the property?

Access the Croft and Sunset is across a single step. Mollycroft is accessed by five fairly steep steps.

Where is the nearest medical centre?
-
The nearest doctors is 2 miles away in the neighbouring village of Oakhill. The nearest A&E is Bath, 16 miles away

Are there places for children to play?

Yes. We love to see children (and adults) playing in the lawn outside Croft and Sunset. We respectfully ask our guests to not wonder down to Mollycroft as this is a secluded area for the exclusive use of Mollycroft guests.

What time do we have to check out?

Check out is normally 10:00am, but it may be possible, if no new guests are arriving that day to stay a little later. Please ask.

What time can we check-in?
-
Check-in is normally from 4:00pm, but it may be possible, if the place is ready to check-in earlier. Please ask.
